SELF PRIMING CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS FOR EMERGENCY SERIES LIGHT

The self-priming centrifugal pumps from the series LIGHT are designed and built to manage rapid intervention operations where the maximum efficiency and reliability is needed. Available in version of 3" and 4" diameter, they reach a maximum flow rate of 2.800 liters/minute and a total head of 35 m.

 

The pump cylinder, the volute and the open rotor are moulded in anticorodal aluminium, as the wearing plate, also in aluminium, is anti-abrasive rubber coated. Mechanical joint in widia-widia without lubrication, laid on a stainless steel sliding ring. Flanged and threaded suction and outlet ports independent from the pump cylinder. Internal screw in stainless steel. The front part of the pump can be easily opened without using any special tools, in order to regularly verify the internal wearing state.

 

Mouldings in cast iron, stainless steel and bronze marine are available in special version. Direct coupling with electric or endothermic motor, this latter being available with pull cord launcher or electric starting. All the parts are assembled on a strong frame of stretcher type equipped of 4 handles for manual transport, or on a carriage with 2 pneumatic wheels and great capacity tanks for the special version.
